We have created technologies and preparations with a high content of humic and fulvic acids, capable of suppressing and destroying any organic pollution, as well as of restoration and development of soil aboriginal microorganisms, which are able to cope with the consequences of technogenic impact in a short time.
Technogenic pollution of lands as a result of human production activity has a direct impact on natural complexes and the ecosystem. Rapid growth of technical production facilities infrastructure sometimes fails in operation, unauthorized pollution of soil (man-made accidents), water, atmosphere, etc. occurs.
This may pose a threat not only to ecology and economics, but also to national security.
One of the major challenges is the problem of eliminating the consequences of technogenic accidents occurred in hydrocarbon production related process, as well as neutralizing their harmful effect on natural habitat.
A typical example of a man-made accident that occurred in 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico, where the state-of-the-art DeepWater Horizon oil platform produced a crushing blow to nature and human ego. The consequences of this accident will continue affecting the ecosystem not only in the region, but the entire planet, for a long time.
Our goal is to create a universal, efficient and cost-effective technology to eliminate such consequences. The basic activities in order to restore polluted soil after man-made violations are detoxication and recultivation. This is a extensive and expensive set of activities performed to recover the destructed territories and bring lands to the environmental safety condition.
Recultivation (restoration) is performed in several stages in succession. The complex of measures on cleaning soil from technogenic pollution includes 2 main stages:
1. Technical recultivation
This is a set of engineering and technical measures of preparatory type, which mainly consists of such works as: collection and removal of the main layer contaminated, land formation, transportation and application of recultivants and fluids that can reduce the pollution concentration in recultivated areas of land, formation of excavations slopes, arrangements for development sites, etc.
At this stage of recultivation, the basic activities are operating machinery and devices that can cope with the task. Our company’s experts perform an estimation of the pollution occurred, develop a package of measures aimed at localization and stopping further pollution promptly.
2. Bio-recultivation
Performed to activate abiotic physical and chemical degradation processes of a pollution source, and subsequent stimulation of soil oxidizing microflora and phytomelioration. It is used to restore the productivity of disturbed lands, form a green landscape, create conditions for animals, plants, microorganisms, strengthen man-made grounds, protecting them from water and wind erosion, create hay and pasture lands, etc.
Under favorable conditions, recultivation of disturbed lands is carried out not through all the stages, but in one of the prevailing directions: water management, recreation, etc. For example, in the areas exposed to gas and smoke emissions from industrial enterprises and landfills, it is recommended to apply a sanitary and hygienic reclamation by planting the most gas-resistant plants. Stimulation of soil microflora should be started only when the total concentration of pollution decreases significantly to 10-15%.
We have created technologies and preparations with a high content of humic and fulvic acids, capable of suppressing and destroying any organic pollution, as well as of restoration and development of soil aboriginal microorganisms, which are able to cope with the consequences of technogenic impact in a short time.
A counterpart of the proposed technology is comparable in its performance with the natural component of humus, which is the basis of a fertile soil layer. Processes, which are in place by nature itself, are many times more intensive with using this technology, so the similar soil parameters are recovered in a shorter time – from 2 to 12 months.
